For the realization of enterprise leapfrog and sustainable development,enterprise established technology center in 1998,which cooperated with several universities and institutes.like USTB(University of Science and Technology Beijing), WUST(Wuhan University of Science and Technology), BaoSteel Research Institute and the technology department of mega steel enterprise.Many research achievements have been made since it founded.Till now,this center undertook one National Torch Program,three municipal technical innovation projects(one of them filled a national gap).Within three years,center gets 22 patents,many of whose has been transferred into productivity and as a result,the quality of products rank the national leading level.Meanwhile,this center is approved as Henan Provincial enterprise technology center.

Working-orientation:Conbining with enterprise practice,serving for production and operation,stimulating the creativity of enterprise antonomous technology，promoting the sustainable development of the enterprise.

Many equipments which used for research ,development and inspection, are in the national leading level.Such as TG328A blance,TG328B blance,Model 723 visible spectrophotometer, refractoriness under load testing machine,1700℃ high temperature heating furnace,Model 2000P compression testing machine,DTY series high temperature carbometer,HMOR series full automatic high temperature break-resistant intensity testing machine,XCSL series new-pattern high temperature refire testing furnace,NHD fefractoriness testing furnace,HRY series high temperature RUL(creep deformation) tester,XQK series apparent porosity/bulk density tester,DHF82 multi-element rapid analyzer.
